Advertisement for the appointment of a Legal Advisor.
The Municipal Committee Lodhran requires a Legal Advisor to represent the committee in various court cases. Applications must be received by the Municipal Committee Lodhran by June 25, 2025. The following conditions must be met for appointment as a Legal Advisor:
1. Qualification:
The applicant must be a law graduate from a recognized university.
2. Experience:
The applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an advocate before the last date of receiving applications. Proof of membership with the Punjab Bar Council and verification from the relevant Bar Association must be attached.
3. Term of Appointment:
The term of appointment will be 2 years and will automatically expire at the end of the period.
4. Remuneration:
The monthly salary will be 50,000 rupees, and travel expenses will be paid according to government guidelines.
5. Duties:
The Legal Advisor will be responsible for providing legal advice to the Municipal Committee Lodhran and representing them in various courts, including the High Court, for both existing and new cases.
6. Selection Method:
Selection will be made according to the Punjab Local Government (Legal Advisor) Rules 2003 and the notification No. SO(ADMN-II) 1595/2025 dated April 25, 2025, or as per the rules framed by the Punjab Government.
7. Number of Vacancies:
Only one vacancy is available. Preference will be given to applicants who are residents of Lodhran district and practice in the district headquarters and High Court. The appointment will be under the authority of the Punjab Government Law and Justice Department.
